Minor old repairs, but generally in good original<br />condition throughout. The shaped drop in seats covered with<br />old green velvet which is still in a good usable<br />condition.<br /><br /><img style="WIDTH: 335px; HEIGHT: 565px" alt="Set of 6 Dining Chairs, Hepplewhite Design " src="http://www.antique-antiques-uk.com/images/2153-6-mahogany-chairs-carver.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><p class="pageTitle" align="center">Fine set of 8 Hepplewhite design<br />antique mahogany dining chairs, comprising of a pair of fine large carver<br />chairs, and 6 side chairs. These chairs date from around 1850, and<br />are very well constructed of quality mahogany, with fine large seats, and<br />elegant yet sturdy tapering legs with channeled detail which are<br />united by stretchers for added strength. The hooped back contains the<br />stylized wheatsheaf design highlighted by well carved detail of wheat ears,<br />so typical of Hepplewhite.
